If this shit really bothers you just throw the television out the window. I honestly had no idea about this latest end of the world stunt (not to mention how big a deal it was) until I saw this thread. Same with the shooting at that school.
Every time something like this is in the news and I'm out of the loop and hear about it weeks later it's almost a sigh of relief, like I dodged a bullet or something.
