So, you're basically going to replace the original ones with the new ones? In one of the most downloaded / played community stuff?
That would be monumentally brilliant.
First off, in case you hadn't caught on by now, I don't care what others think of the mod or how many times it's downloaded. I make the mod for me, then share it. When I want your opinion on my work... well, I won't, so nevermind.
Second: your problem with his work is that, according to you, it does not fit the 40's, 50's, or 60's. Tell me: how in the hell is the original art for money, rubber boots, boxing gloves, books, knives, fruit, etc. any more 'Fallouty' than the ones he created? Some of the weapons are more modern, but there are far more other items than those in his art pack. But, overall, your argument makes no sense, unless you are choosing to equate 'Fallouty' with 'less detail'.
Third, where did I say that I was replacing everything in the Megamod?

...I keep a library of art so that, if I need something new for an addition to my project or just want to change the appearance of things, I have it. These items are definitely going into that library.
I stand by what I said at the start: that it is good work.
And, finally, upon further reflection, I think I will use some of his work.
