    His death certainly is a big loss, but I'll have to agree with Luke - he was, first and foremost, a trademark. He might have had an immense talent, but he also knew how to use it to his advantage.

    In a world full of charlatans and American Idol wannabes, Pavarotti was a genuine great talent. The world is a lesser place for his loss.
