PCZone remembers Fallout

I try to mention FallOut 3 on average twice an issue.... We will reclaim it.. It will be ours once more...

;)

Will Porter? Is that you? Sure i`ll buy the magazine, i always do, except in some months that i try to get it too late.

I posted the Fallout3 pics at the time, there are more stuff on the game here

If the game had passed December you would get, as other magazines from the States, UK and France an "unofficial Fallout3 press folder", with much more info and pics, i was making it in order to try to make it more dificult for Interplay to just cancel the game without repercussions. It was too late though.

Tell Erikson to stop using Heskey and pray for James to be iluminated by the other goalkeepers great performances ;)

PC Zone IN USA

PC Zone IN USA

Looking for UK issues of Amiga Format got me 'out and about' and patronizing the "hunter gather", the "shopper" within. This was pre 14k internet I believe. In the ancient daze of Prodigy and Compuserve, don't remember if AOL was spamming the mails with floppies, but that would soon occur....

The UK Mac and Photoshop / computer art 'zines may start the stocking. It's the CD with the Mag that insures sales, as long as most
find it a tedium worth paying to avoid, to download 100 Meg demo's on phone grade copper.

Have seen UK publications at Micro Center and Borders.
Not sure if I saw UK stuff in the huge 'zine shelving at Media Play.
Not sure if Comp USA has a big enough 'zine shelving budget to justify the "no sale" possibility.

If you can locate a bookstore or computer store with a large selection, it pays to check once a month to see what non crippled demo's or full versions are offered in the UK, that aren't offered in the USA.

good idea, I've got a magnificent barnes & noble about 15 minutes off with a borders right next door. I can do the run down of those this weekend and see if they've got the goods. thanks mi hijo

Guys, if you American fellas want to PM me with your addresses I don't mind sending a few copies over... as there really aren't that many distibuted Stateside - certainly not enought to warrant you going searching..

I can only justify sending three or so over though, so first PM first served....

not exactly "on topic" but since you're here Mr Porter...

great article..

when we finally do get our fallout 2 mod up and running, is there any chance of getting it on the coverdisk? like all those HL etc mods you do?

unfortunately, it might be 200+Mb in size... so maybe the DVD version..?

We at Fan Made Fallout would also be interested in an answer, though we have a longer time-frame in mind. It would just be interesting to know if this is a path we can pursue towards distribution when we finish.
