Are Penumbra Overture and Penumbra Black Plague any good ? I plan on buying Penumbra Chronicles ( contains both games ) but I'm not sure yet. If I enjoyed Call of Cthulhu Dark Corners of the Earth, odds are I will enjoy this, right ( despite the different setting, the gameplay seems to be a bit similar, except a lot more physics based ) ?

EDIT : Ok, tried the Penumbra : Black Plague demo. I'm totally sold on this game. What an opressing atmosphere and what a clever game ! I love it.
 
IGN gave a review that made me very curious. Said they were good adventure games with a unique story and great atmospheres. I'll probably get them eventually.

I've played only Overture and it had a very weak story. However, the gameplay was pretty good and scary. Except for the retarded way of swinging a weapon, which is frustrating as hell.
 
Jeesh. I started a new game of Penumbra overture, in the dark, with my headphones on. Came across that first wild dog. Jumped on me from nowhere and ate me alive. Almost shat my pants. Turned the game off. Typed this message. Probably going to bed now... :( :|
