Phone Booth

First time out of the vault
album_pic.php

OK, so here's my image I made in 3ds max inspired by some Fallout 3 concept art. I'm really big fan of Fallout and hungry for everything relevant to this game, that's why I'm trying to make some artworks by myself - just to satisfy my hunger .

As I said in my PM, this is excellent! Glad you decided to post it. Keep them coming.

'cept the phone booth in Fallout was blue though...never mind, great work! :D

Actually, it was a police call box :). I just think this is supposed to be eery. The fact it retained it's red paint freaks me out.

Excellent work. It gives a feel of a desolate wasteland where once was a city, that left just a phone booth as a remnant.

That is truely amazing. It looks so out of place - we had one just outside our house - just popped into existance in the middle of nowhere. There is a huge Red box graveyard somewhere. People even make showers out of them!

Great! I like how you used Aloe Vera plants...a typical plant in desert/meditteranean settings. Oh and by the way the "meditteranean" climate exists on both the meditteranean coasts and the California coast in the south.

I had a huge one growing in my yard the size of a small car.

Sincerely,
The Vault Dweller

Nice composition! Awesome job on the textures! The only weakness I would like to point out is that you should have rotated the plants to appear more variated. Other than that, sweeeet

After looking at this pic for a while I realised that it is a little too 'clean' for a Post Apoc wasteland... Sure, it sounds absurd me saying that but the booth is in too good of a shape after a war and the like.

I mean, this pic would look great with the sunset in the background with a lot of red and yellow (y'know a sunset) and a bit more dust floating around like there is a sandstorm brewing...

Sorry on the criticism, I really do enjoy your render!

cool! its rusty, the paint has peeled of, but the metal should be a bit twisted here and there from the harsh weather...

"zomg a war would have killed it" Man this is awesome, the fact that its still standing gives rise to many unaswered questions that one such as myself could look at for hours and zone out apon. Why didnt it die why is it still there?

Enough rambling, tis awesome
