Vaguely inspired by Wintermind's question regarding guns and photography from the gun owner's thread, I wonder if there are other folks here with an interest in photography? I got into photography because I wanted to start cataloging some of my wood work for sale, and I was tired of taking crappy pictures with crappy cameras. I'm still very much an amateur, but I enjoy the hobby quite a bit. So in this thread, what I am looking for is an example of a picture or pictures you personally took. Also, feel free to include any details about the gear you used, any post processing techniques, or the location. I'll start it off with these: Yosemite Valley at Twilight. My truck at Pawnee National Grasslands. I pushed the contrast and the color saturation up in post-process to make it pop a little more. The Devil's Backbone in Loveland, CO. Taken by a Canon S95 point & shoot. This one has some nasty high ISO noise, but I like it anyways. Red Rock Canyon in Las Vegas. Shot with a CPL, but otherwise, the colors were really that vivid. My son and his English cousin. Taken with a 50mm F/1.8. I look forward to seeing what you guys can do.
