Planscape:TOrment, crashing on winXP

Ok so i finally got myself a copy of planescape, and whne i start installing on winXP it says "os not supported" and crashes, anyone knows how to fix it?

I had the same problem when trying to install with the CD in a CD-RW drive. It works fine if it's in a normal CD-Rom drive.

Its probably a software conflict with, most likely, DirectCD. Try shutting down DirectCD when you install and run the game.
