Please save me from killing my computer

Messenger? what's that one?

I can't remember what it's original function was, but as is it's basically an extremely exploitable service that has absolutely no use and needs to be disabled - pop up windows and viruses or worse are all it's going to bring you if you leave it on.

Try this.

It's a free tool to disable the messenger function.

There are also a few other free tools on the Website.

Rm... I just clicked disable on messenger. Would that program do anything further? And since there is no where on topic to write it... while watching Sin City, I saw the preview for Amityville (and saw it up top to remind me). The thing reminds me a lot of Ocean House Hotel from Vampire Bloodlines. That's all. Thanks, bye :).

To be honest, I've no idea.

I do recall reading somewhere that messenger can reset itself, or that disabling it does not work in some unspecified way. But, as I cannot remember where I read this, you may want to disregard my advice.

*shrug*
