they might be removing the 'not really related' concept stuff and putting actual gameart instead?

that or their Flash script got fubar'ed. (which wouldn't be a surprise, seeing as you could fubar it by changing your local date settings)
 
Meh, probably just putting up a full site. Probably with some EXCLUSIVE concept art or screenshots.
 
Maybe they're about to reveal that the "Fallout 3" we've seen is not but a console spinoff, and now they're ready to show the new PC isometric/turn based Fallout 3! [/wishful thinking]
 
Well there is a thread about them giving us to much information... I thought it was a joke but the guy was serious. He really thinks they have given us to much.

Apparently some of their mods agree (as they said in this thread) that if anything to little has been shown... I doubt the thread has any relevancy to it other than to note that everyone except a rare few think they are giving to little information.

As I said on there... if we cut all the PR from the reporters and look at JUST what they gave out to the fans it amounts to a few small images of concept art and a short video. The rest they gave to reporters and it was reported through their eyes... so we are getting everything 3rd party style, which is nice but I would like to make up my own mind. Who knows, maybe we will love it, perhaps we will hate it, we will never know until it is shown though.

The only reason I see not to post it is as it might turn more people away from the game, there for reducing sales... but if they are so confident about it then post it.

lol, thanks for the update. Glad to see a formal front page now, pass along my thanks for that as well.

Also, yes, Brother None seems almost psychic at some times to me. How fast he hears about these things is somewhat astonishing.
 
Nice to see that the good ol' Fallout fan sites are listed under the Links section.

I hadn't gotten to the links yet... the lack of fan sites wasn't what hit me. What hit me was that they have Game spy on there... after what they said about fallout fans I wouldn't touch them with a 900 foot pole if I was Bethesda... IMO

The fan sites would be a big plus also, but it is not even 10 minutes new yet so I assume it will come in time.

EDIT:In the downloads there are some really REALLY nice sized wallpapers of that concept art. Well worth at least visiting and taking a look at when viewing their site.

A interesting read is under the section labeled "Vault" is Tod's public diary. It may just be all PR baloney, but it is a good and interesting read. I would like to believe it is all true, and will for the time being. Currently I am taking every piece of information I get as a small piece of clay, all flexible, all removable, all shap-able to figure out what perhaps is inside the game. And until I get more facts about the final... not the beta but the final... I prefer not to throw stones.

hope over the next year you'll come to see this website as a good place to get information on the game, right from us. Please know it's going to be a slow trickle all the way up to release for a few reasons, 1) the game is a long way off yet, and 2) we mess with the game until it's done. If something big changes that we've already discussed, we'll do our best to let you know. Suffice it to say, you should have more then enough info when the game hits the shelves to decide for yourself if Fallout 3 is worth your time and money.

This is what I like to hear, but of course I have to ask myself is this why it is being said... more PR. Still, as I said earlier, I want to believe! :(
 
well the website is up. doesnt seem to hold anything new. this is just on a personal note .. i hate the fact that they use the fallout 1 logo and have removed the subtitle and replaced it with .. ammericas first choice for arcadey stuff ...

Later edit: also theyve really outdone themselves in using the purchased material - i mean all the vault-boy artwork ... its really the only thing nice about it.

the rest is just decent.
 
As far as their links go, it's not surprising. Their attitude to the old fans is clearly "either embrace our way of doing things 100% or go jump in a lake".
