PnP Roleplaying game

Hmm the PnP from tactics i was looking at the bonus CD and noticed it. It looks kinda cheesy and i was wondering you guys are like playing here on the forum with your super hugh stories you tell.
So why has no one made characters up and started to roleplay in the forum instead of just telling a story. ?


Don't ask me if i would want to do this i like real action but i was just bringing up the idear while i wait for a moderator to show up and talk to me i figured you guys have lots of creativity and maybe could get more out of it then just telling a story you could gather like a D/D group.

Online roleplaying, as in roleplaying with set rules and events, has been attempted, but it just doesn't work.

It might work in a chat, because there is direct intercation, but it'll never work on a forum...I mean:

Player: "I attack"
(1 day later) Dungeon Master: "You hit for 2 points, the mutant misses"
(another day later) Player: "I strike again"

verbal online roleplaying is not controld enogh and most peaple here is not serius enogh.
gather some real frend and play Dungeons and Drageons whit them not whit some peple you met on the internet and dont realy know

If you like to write, this can be good practice at improvised story telling and since its cooperative, often scenarios can develop that are a lot of fun to work with.
