Look, Ma! Two Heads!

I saw this Kickstarter project Jack Houston and the Necronauts, and I am intrigued by it.

Now, I'm an adventure game fan from the Basic days, text adventure, moving on to Sierra's pre-mouse adventure games, and finally to point and click days, with Monkey's Island, Indiana Jones, Star Trek and others. But, it got me thinking how much room do I have for Point and Click games?
I chipped in for the Two Guys from Andromeda game, as I have a nostalgic spot for Space Quest above many others, but I haven't donated anything to the multitude of other Point and Click Kickstarter projects out there. I'm just not sure that the genre as a whole is deep enough to support me shelling out for more than an occasional one.
With that said, I'm tempted to donate to this project and I may do so. I love the antiquated sci-fi trappings and I'm intrigued by the stop motion animation idea.
