Possible new role play

Because First Mission is getting a bit busy, the moderators have been thinking about starting a new roleplay.

I'd be curious to hear what you folks would be interested in.

Some ideas-
I actually have a few ideas-
(1) Fallout before the war. THe vaults are all in secret places but someone is trying to figure out where they are. Worse, there are insidious plots concerning the plot for the war. Is the war avoidable- an alternative history.
(2) Fallout meets Cthulhu- a combo of different roleplays. It is the end times and the Old Ones are now resurfacing.
(3) Fallout elsewhere. Perhaps a fallout
campaign that takes place in Europe.
(4) Life inside a vault- In the long years of being underground, there is an adventure inside a vault.
(5) Life outside the vaults during the war. This would happen just as the war is beginning.
 
Life inside the vault sounds intersting....

Prehaps have the vault built partily into a series of caverns in the moutain, but some caverns wernt used...... and they connect to the Vault....

Just tossing ideas.
 
How about a fallout game based on being raiders or slavers and attacking the cities. I myself always thought that games were fun when a sequel was made that let you play as the bad guys.
 
Better yet, we could have multiple new RPs started, if we play several ideas that we get started here.


Also, what about playing Enclave personel ?

You couldve been a lucky person who was on patrol, or in a vertibird, when the Choson one massacered Navarro.

Your goal is now to survive, and trek east to find someware to set a base at.

Tribals whose village got wiped out by Deathclaws ?

We have to start over, with what were carrying.

Be mostly spearchuckers, maybe some other improv weapons and have ONE persons characther have a hunting riffle, and an extra load of ammo.
 
That's a possible idea. It had been tried before, but we weren't as busy.

I also like the idea of an "evil" campaign.
 
With the Enclave one, you'd have good shit (though weapons would possibly run low on ammo) but your AdvPwrArmr would mark you as Enclave, which would mean the large powers (Vault City, Reno, NCR) would all want you, so you'd have to choose protection over concealment and weather or not to keep your armor.

With the slavers, most people wouild hate you as well.

Personaly, Id like the slaver one more.
 
It's possible to have an enclave story like this-

A squad of the Enclave are getting slaves and are out on a round up when the off-shore platform gets hit. They've already hurting because of Navarro, and are unsure what to do. They figure it's best to get away from the area and use the Vertibird to get as far as they can- Hawaii, Canada, the midwest, Mexico.

The vertibird crashes enroute do to bad weather, leaving the survivors stranded. Story picks up from there. Low on ammo, damaged weapons, on their own. Much of their gear they might have to give up enroute because it was too much to carry.

The problem is that the power armor will make an unfavorable balance against just about any adversary they meet.

But that can be dealt with too. Much of the armor is damaged or destroyed. Perhaps they suffer an electric attack that destroys the power in their power armor. Perhaps they run into the remnants of the Chinese Army in Alaska.
 
The Enclave RP would require a good GM, with the balance issues.

However, it could be quite fun, as could the slaver/raider mission.
 
Always prefered combat armor myself...must be the fear of having a small sun on my back and not wanting to be a big tin target

Ok i like the enclave idea i guess. But at most i think we should have one guy(squad leader) with the advanced power armor, and the rest with combat armor. Otherwise we shouldnt have miniguns either due to recoil and weight issues that normal humans cant use. So laser and plasma weapons would be ideal or M60s and light assault weapons. And furthermore Hawaii would be out of the question for an escape area as it has a naval base stationed there so it would be nuked to hell and irradiated terribly.
 
Plus we'd be on the mainland, so Hawaii would certainly be out.


I'd recomend some base in the midwest that was belived to be mainly intact.
