First time out of the vault
ill start
one time i fought a deathclaw with a corrupted model using a melee weapon it was so epic my game crashed

One time, I bought a $50 game with the word "Fallout" in the title, became nauseous and depressed after two hours, uninstalled and never touched it again.

Weak. I played through the damn thing.

At the time when that "game" (game is supposed to entertain oneself, not to punish and torture player) came out my PC was waaay too crappy to play it, so I didn't buy it. Later on I realised that I saved equivalent of 50$ by not buying that stinking pile of radioactive brahmin shit, I just wish I could do the same with F3 what you were able to do with Megaton.

Oh, I can withstand pain when the end result is worth it. When you get older, though, you learn not to put yourself through the grinder when there's absolutely no reward or reason.

This one time, my dad asked me to help him in his quest to have peasants drink the ocean, and I was like "But Dad, common filtration techniques can strip drinking water of nearly all radioactive contaminants," but HE was all like "but Project Purity!" and I was like "BUT 18 INCHES OF DIRT WILL DO THE SAME THING!" and he was all like "BUT THAT'S NOT A DIALOGUE OPTION!" and then he died.

One time I was walking the wasteland. And Protectron fell on my head. So I, like, uninstalled it.

I was fighting a group of enclave, killed all but one. by this point I had no bullets, pulled out my lead pipe and ran up to him, he was crouching and stared right at me, I swung and hit him in the head, it made THE most satisfying noise ever as he jerked to the floor, and luckily, just before i killed him I said, "eat lead."

I spent a lot of time stumbling around the map, along unmarked but implied quests, wondering why they couldn't just do the extra effort to make an actual quest out of it

For example-
Every vault (except 101 and 82, those had quests)

one time a group of talon company mercs said i had a contract on my head and started shooting at me i was low on stimpacks and was about to die then out if nowhere Syndey came and saved my ass

( Mod's)
I was walking with Dogmeat, Charon, Fawkes, Paladin Cross, Butch and Sargent, Sargent screamed " Time to kick some ass", it was so Awesome, then a group of Talon Raider's shot Butch with a Missile Launcher and he died, then a Group of Brotherhood Soldier's and this Caravener came and shot the Talon Merc's, then came a big fucking Vertibird and Enclave guy's ran out and killed the brotherhood guy's, then Outcast's came and killed all the Enclave guy's, then they got killed by my Gauss Rifle, it was so awesome, Paladin Cross died from the Vertibird bomibng her.

well good for you. I honestly liked it quiet well. I'm replaying it for like the 4th time just for the hell of it. That Nuka Break web series got me in the mood :D I just noticed some people on here are not fans of it one bit. but to contribute I'd have to say my favorite moment is when I got mauled by a death claw in that abandoned settlement. It came out of nowhere

I love how you guys hate on this game. You truly are a bunch of crazies

Why wouldn't we, we like Fallout?

and I probably logged 100 hours in Fallout 3

Me too but some of its points like only having 28 marked quests make it seem like a victim of being lazy, when there could've been about 200

When I first found it, I wasn't a Fallout fan yet. My friend let me borrow it on the premise 'Oblivion with Guns'. Compared to the 400 something quests in Oblivion, don't you think the Capital Wasteland could've gone through the effort of making side quests rather than 60 unmarked ones?
