Prospectors Den?

Hail dark lord Väder

First time out of the vault
I have cleared out the jackal gang from the Prospectors Den.
According to the wiki, there should be a few prospectors along
with a merchant spawning in there now after it's been cleared.

But I've checked 3 times already and all I can find is the bloody corpses of the previously killed jackal gang members, no merchant...

How long is it supposed to take for the merchant & prospectors to move in there?? Tried waiting atleast 3 days..

Give it an in-game week, at least. Basically a time frame that CAN'T be practically fulfilled by you standing outside of the Den, waiting for new prospectors to magically appear. Go do some other business, and the next time you find yourself near the Prospector's Den, it will be fully repopulated with friendly, trading prospectors!

Yea waiting in free side for 3 days worked..

Im Currently chasing after the 3 modifications for the tri beam laser (GRA).
Any one know if there is a level requirement for vendors to start selling them? Been carrying the rifle itself since lv 20 but can't seem to find anyone selling the mods for it :(

(tried all hidden / tricky to find / limited access merchants).
Well I won't give up til i find em all lol, I never do :P

Just wait for.. a certain ammount of days that i don't remember and they should have restocked. Just wait for them to restock and then hit all the vendors or just keep waiting for the same vendor to restock.

I know about the restock system on FONV, it's just that some times, it seems like some items (like advanced weapon mods, armors & guns etc) won't be made available anywhere until you hit lv X.

Since, at this rate, I've basically ravaged / raped the entire game in every single way possible.
There is nothing in FONV that I didn't do / know about.
Accept tiny details like these things we're talking about in this thread. Lol

So now basically it's all about doing it all over again.
As "early game" / low level as possible, once i hit lv 30 and i still don't have that unique rifle / safe house / armor piece or w/e,
it's a failure, to me that is.

Not even battlefield 3 is enough to keep me away from that new vegas disc. (on PS3, despite loading screens, still holdin' it down)

Didn't have time to play / grind today so I'll try tomorrow and I'll update results.

Current unanswered question:
Is there a level requirement for some certain weapons or weapon mods (or what ever else) to even be available at various / selected merchants?

Edit: only reason this thread was made in the first place was because I needed to figure out how to make the prospector merchant spawn (problem solved) while I was grinding all other available merchants allover NV for these weapon mods. I have a feeling I'll find em tomorrow, unfortunately I might have to start over since I'm hitting lv 30 soon. (explanation: Bethesda games from 2009 on CONSOLE ((ps3)) and forward = lv 30+ = laaaaaaag)

You know, I always liked this place after clearing it out. I would have liked to have seen more places like it. Just little pit stops for wanderers and prospectors to hang out, grab a drink, maybe they could have programmed in some conversations about scavangers talking about past hauls, etc.

Ah... Yeah, I've HEARD of those nightmares. Although I never experienced them, myself (even on my PS3, the games functioned "adequately" for me), I've heard that the major source of the lag is multiple saves. So while it defeats the purpose of truly enjoying yourself and having many "landmark" saves to remember all your travels with, if you limit your number of saves to just 1 (if you had to have more, maybe keep them on a thumb drive?) then it should play just fine...
