No, actually, "transparent" is just a special sort of colour, which, to my knowledge, can only be utilized in .gif's and .png's.
Dunno about other programs, but in photoshop it's as easy as selecting the parts of the picture that are going to be made transparent, and using a special "make transparent" tool. Or just create a new picture, create a new layer, copy the picture you're editing onto it, and erase the parts which you want to be the transparent background. It's nothing really hard.
Anyway, here you go, that's the best i can do with my brain functioning on 10% it's normal performance, zz.
