Ragemage
Wept for Zion
Alright, so I was wondering something about the Independent Ending. This ending is essentially meant to be a failsafe ending in case you kill the leaders of the other endings (Kimball, Caesar, House), correct? That's the reason Yes Man is the only unkillable character in the whole game.
Well from what I understand playing through the Independent ending, you pretty much need House's Securitron army for yourself in order to take over. But.. What if you blow up the Securitrons instead? That's what Caesar wants you to do after all. So what if you blow up the Securitrons, but then decide you still want to do an Independent ending and kill the other 3 ringleaders? Is it possible to finish the game despite blowing up what's essentially your army or are you effectively locked out of finishing the game?
If you can still finish the game, does blowing up the Securitrons effect anything ending-wise? I'd imagine you wouldn't have any Securitrons to back you up during the Battle of Hoover Dam. Plus I'm fairly certain by blowing up the army and not giving House the platinum chip, you're essentially limiting your army to only police Mark I securitrons.
