Is it just a thread you can join or is it only qualified people asking questions? I presume there are barriers to stop shitposting.

New Vegas has been ported to XB1 or so I've heard, so I guess that's backwards compatibility.

Yeah, I meant to say 'why isn't New Vegas's new backwards compatibility worthy of a front page update?', but the bloody character limit screwed me.

Just wanted to say that New Vegas being backwards compatible on XB1 is pretty awesome, and props to Beth for doing it, because that was the publishers call.

Always fun to name Fallout 2 characters due to their tribalism, I've since started naming them like Mad Max characters, Rictus Erectus, Lord Humungus and the like.

I thought jareth sounded tribal-y enough.

Now I feel a little guilty. I named my first Fallout 2 character, Alan Cole (since I used a modified Albert Cole in Fallout 1 and felt like keeping the Al Cole name in the family) but due to this, his name stands out like a sore thumb among his fellow villagers. He must've been teased his whole life before Fallout 2 started.

Yeah i look around the site and also didn-t see any red flags about any pishing. That is the problem with WOT, it is user managed so someone might have missreported it.

That's not to say they haven't made some enjoyable games. But everything they've done is far from deserving the praise they get.

what i dont get about bethesda is they did such a good job with doom and the elder scrolls, how did they fuck up Fallout so much

They could be doing better with TES. and they had nothing to do with the development of doom.
