Railroad Pioneer and Arcanum

First time out of the vault
Has anyone heard of/played Railroad Pioneer? I was surfing screenshots at Gamespot last night and came across these screenshots.

Now is it me or does the minimap in most of them (bottom right corner) more than slightly resemble the world map in Arcanum? Looks to me like Kritzelkratz has some explaining to do.

Not only does it resemble the Arcanum world map, it *is* the Arcanum worldmap. "Moribhan Plains" it says. Naughty, naughty...
 
only the "lastest" screens seem to have it

very naughty indeed (or did an Troika artist go to the jerries, and it's meant to be an inside joke?)

It makes sense, actually. Railroad was quite a novelty in the Arcanum world, wasn't it?

Say, are there any dwarves in the Railroad Pioneer?
 
I played Arcanum...I loved the railroads as they added a lot of flavor to the world.

Interesting...guessed the makers have no imagination so they just grabbed an idea from something with railroads!
