Anyway after i spent 2 days trying to install a rented copy of fallout 3 on 3 different brand new laptops i use at work, and i found out the hard way that the (patched and unpatched, mind you) POS will crash on launching a new game on any Intel Express graphics chipset,

(Attention: whatever the bethesda fanbois say, it's not *supposed* to crash. Intel Express is an OK graphics chipset, and *does* support SM 2.0)

i wasn't really gonna start doing this until i got to play the damn game. and my interest curve in it keeps tumbling down.
