Request list, pretty easy

    Hi, new poster, old time lurker. With the news of the CS, could someone make me these mods, please? I'm not a very good modder myself, but I hope to spark some more inspiration with these ideas.

    More durable and more intelligent Dogmeat. He's supposed to flank, not me. Bite the monsters in the leg to cripple them. Hit and run attacks all the time. Not dog armor, that's silly. New Teeth? Mutant Dogmeat? Cyborg Dogmeat?

    Weapons and armors should not degrade as much (already in the works, I know, but this is different) Item degradation should be tied to your repair skill. The higher the skill, the slower the degradation. Not a complete stop, just slower.

    The power armor should carry itself when equipped, no more, no less. Well, maybe get rid of the AGI penalty.

    The Laser rifle had 50 range in 1 and 2. It should be remade to the sniper rifle for Energy Weapon enthusiasts.

    Sniper rifle (and laser rifle) should be as good in VATS as in real time. (and the .44 scoped Magnum as well)

    Tone down the VATS camera. Only huge camera pans on critical, otherwise just over the shoulder or nothing at all.

    Increase the level cap, now with kept karma titles and no bugs. Just make it worth playing a little more after hitting 20. 25-30, doesn't matter. Don't increase the resistance too much. Make me feel like a badass.

    If you find another schematic for a custom weapon, it should do more than affect the initial condition. It should affect the damage somewhat, maybe range in appropriate cases and most definetely item degradation rates.

    That's all. Do you think it could be done?

    Just more inteligent will do I believe (i.e. not running into/between 4 raiders, or charging a deathclaw and remaining NEAR him :-D)

    Seconded, I dont think theres a mod where REPAIR skill slowers degradation, would be a nice touch...

    Carry itself? Dont get it. But Id leave a -1 AGI penalty... It DOES give great protection....

    YES, please YES!

    Those I havent commented already exist I believe, especially the most crucial one for me - lvl cap increaser and above 100 skill points fixer.

    Dogmeat doesn't need to be more intelligent. He's just a dog. A super duper awesome dog, but a dog nonetheless. I think a simple mod to make him RUN AWAY WHEN HE"S HURT. Like your enemies do. By the glory of atom, what a small thing to overlook...

    Power armour is one of the few things, other than drugs, that has a bad side effect to its use. Bethesda got rid of that sort of thing when they got rid of traits. What they should do is make it much more powerful. I remember taking down Enclave troops with a shotgun. In one hit. At medium range. "Shiver"

    We don't need to improve the Laser rifle (It's a different model than the one in 1 & 2, anyways.) We need to add more energy weapons overall. Scratch that, we need to add more weapons of every type overall.

    VATS needs improvements. And an on/off switch for the animations. Don't worry, we ALL know that one's in the pipeline.

    I don't mind the level cap. What they should do is
    1. Make the experience needed to raise your level much higher.
    2. Cut out some of the books, the skill bobble heads, and probably the comprehension perk OR raise the skill point cap past 100. And make it so that the more skill points you put into a skill, that the improvement doesn't get incrementally smaller. I'm not sure if you noticed, but there's no point in putting more than 60 points in a combat skill. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Only if he doesnt get killed from 1 hit (i.e. deathclaw), then I agree.

    Yeah... but then, if u ask me, most armors should be a little upped... Power armor most of all, but id still leave a -1 agi, and a +3 str.
    Carefull with that. It is a fact that weapons need an overhaul, but i found no mod to make it as it should be yet... IM gonna try the new mod thats included in "Welcome to Wasteland" 2morrow.
    Disagreed. There's LOTS of mods where they increase the exp needed for lvling... to sum it all up: "...I avoid the other solution which is to simply bump the xp required to level up by a significant marigin because it breaks the game.
    Not all the world levels up around you, and if you level TOO slowly, you can get to a point where you simply can't keep up with the game (can't win hack/lockpick/etc checks).
    My solution makes it that quests still level you up properly, but it is EXPLORATION that receives reduced XP, which is the only thing this game needed."

    Only one that manages to do it kinda properly is the better pacing mod, but still lvl cap would be gr8 - who capped u in F2? TO cap at 30 & increase EXP needed a little = gr8 combination... following that, skill cap increased above 100.

    as for books - yes, too many, cut out some.

    bobble heads - leave them be... they r sort of a reward, and u get them at various times, its not like u get them all in first 10 minutes.

    Dogmeat Intelligence doesn't need to be Einsteiny. Even the most stupid dog can size up its enemy. So if Dogmeat sees a Behemoth or a Deathclaw, he runs away. Period. And when he's hurt, as suggested. But basic "pack" hunting behavior would be nice. Flank, bite retreat, find new position, flank, bite retreat. All while I'm pumping lead.

    Remember that no enclave trooper (or BoS member) wear fully repaired armor, the DR is reduced. Hence, the easy killing.

    Repair: I think that the skill invested in a gun should repay itself with more durability.

    Power Armor: Carry itself = no weight when equipped.
