Hoohoo! Fallout 1 works great under Windows XP Professional!
I was really playing this in 2001, I was not doing so well.
It was perfect, with September 11.
I got a real kick how I robbed the bank, I thought it was worth
mentioning, although I think someone has thought of this. Somewhere before the Hub, I aquired a timebomb. It is a sweet way to asasinate people. Use the bomb and plant it one the victum
with the steal skill.
So how about cutting out the middle man in the Hub Lender's
Bank? Plant the bomb, leave the bank, close the doors. go
take a leak in the next building, hear the explosion and
return to the bank and close the doors behind you!
The outside guards are dumb and don't do anything. Every one
is calm and you are not in battle mode. You have the whole
bank to yourselves, save the bloody mess on the ground.
You end up with $2000 caps and a whole array of goodies!
It is the coolest two grand in the game! 8)
I'm not a hard core modder or anything, Its just recently
that the game easily installs under XP. It was good to
play a goodie. I thought I also mention another game.
It was called Land of Devastation.
