Hospital wants penis op man to return

Doctors at a Romanian hospital want police to help them find a man who fled after being told he'd have to have his penis cut off.

Staff at the hospital in Pitesti in the south of the country say gangrene had set in.

The 42-year-old had apparently stuck a metal ring on it after losing a bet during a drinking game in the pub.

Doctors told the man the only way to save his life was to remove the damaged penis, but said when they told him he fled the hospital.

Dr Stelian Belu said: "He put the ring on but could not get it off again, and unfortunately although he was in agony, he waited two days before coming to hospital because he was embarrassed.

"The blood supply by that time had been cut off for too long, and there was nothing we could do. We told him we would need to cut it off so that the necrosis does not spread to his body."

Doctors fear the man will die if he does not get urgent medical treatment, local Pro TV reported.

Dr Belu added: "There is no way he can escape going under the knife. He needs to come back to the hospital and accept this."

Well he IS Romanian. Statisticly the chances hed every actually use it for its intended purposes are pretty low.

Prostitutes in a Romanian town have decided to accept food coupons as payment.

The girls from Deva said they use half of the coupons to buy food and sell the other half under its value to get some money.

One of the girls, Elena told Curierul newspaper: "I have been doing this job here for about two years and lately our clients are very few. So we had this idea: maybe men will be happier to come to us if they don't have to give us money which may be monitored by wives."

Food coupons are given by many of the Romanian employers as supplement to their monthly retribution.

A Romanian man says he is decided to sell his penis because he needs money more than anything including having sex.

The 33-year-old man from Rovinari, Gorj county, who never met his parents, claims he needs financial support to take care of his younger brothers.

He said he doesn't really need his penis but knows somebody who does.

Constantin Dugulan told Gazeta de Sud newspaper: "I saw on TV that a doctor cut a patient's penis by mistake and I thought that man might be interested to buy mine. I am not sure this operation is possible but if it is I am ready to give up my penis for a better life."

The man said he was about to sell one of his kidneys and also an eye a few years ago but his client changed his mind.

The guy must have had the ring put on while drunk...Imagine waking up hungover and finding THAT stuck there...must sure have hurt to get an erection...I mean if it fit loosely he could take it off, since he didnt it must have fit perfectly...
