Rome Total war

I just played the demo in a friend's pc during a 6 hour doom 3 session, seeing as my Gf2Mx is barely able to render screenshots of said games.

Too bad the demo didn't show the strategic game, it was my favourite part of medieval (incidentally, my gf2mx can't render big battles in medieval). What it shows about the tactical game tough, does look good. Not much changed in the mechanics of battle, but the fancy graphical effects (besides the lame terrain) make the game feel like a whole new experience. It truly is a lovely sight to charge some elephants into a light infantry formation.

aye, the river in the demo map looked pretty lifeless and bland. But gawd, the troops were beautiful. I zoomed in all the way and just drooled for a good 10 minutes.
 
I can't wait to play as The Greeks. I hope they make an Alexander the Great mod. Also, I wonder how many distinct army types they will have.
