Russia attacks Ukraine

Zelensky's rating is in third place and lower than the ratings of his generals. hmm... what could this mean?

Azov commander is currently in 6th place. We continue to monitor
"Держу в курсе' как говорят в России.

There's a war between Russia and Ukraine? I think Thatcher and Reagan should send troops and help that poor African country. The world has gone mad.

Dude. Russia is located in the South of Australia, right next to Denmark. Are you trolling? Or are you from the US?

Also, what I am trying to say is that if Hitler had actually managed to cross the Alps with his elephants to defeat the Egyptians, the Ukranian peninsula would probably have become an English enclave and Covid would have never happened.

My History teacher always said: 'If you only watch cartoons and porn, wars do not exist.' I wish I had followed his advice, but then the fax machine was invented and there was no stopping the influx of information.

Ha! I think I just proved that Earth is flat, but you are too headstrong to accept that everything you know is based on lies.

All of this checks out.

I remember the first months of the war, when the Western press reported that Russia was finished, the economy would be destroyed, the army would be defeated and the country would fall apart, and the entire civilized world would despise what was left. Now you consider it a significant achievement that Ukraine was able to hold out for 3 years. NATO as a whole seriously helped Ukraine, having a combined economy several dozen times larger than Russia and a military budget about 10 times larger. Russia has learned its lesson, believe me.

I look at the map and I don't see the efficiency you mentioned. I see a dying country with no future, where no one wants to live.

They counter invaded your country years into the conflict. How many casualties does Russia currently have? Wasn't Russia saying it would last 2-3 months at the beginning?

Russia and the rest of the world learned the Russian military isn't what everyone thought it was. Pound your chest about it if you like.

Are you asking my opinion or is this a rhetorical question?
Russia has about 100 thousand killed. Ukraine has 70 thousand killed and 50 thousand missing (Russia is advancing, the Ukrainian Forces often do not have time to collect the bodies, like in Sudzha). +20 thousand killed separatist combatants.
Now, based on the population of Russia and the population of Ukraine, draw a conclusion about who is effective and who is not.
2-3 months? Russia promised? I officially apologize for this on behalf of Russia. You were deceived, it happens.
I have a suspicion that before the war, you never had any opinion about what the Russian military is like. How can you be disappointed in something you had no idea about. Moreover, speaking for the whole world is a bit presumptuous, but keep going, you're doing great

I'll clarify why I engaged in this conversation.

I'm not trying to attack you personally, but between the posts about why Ukraine is at fault, or deserves what is happening/ the casus belli reasoning/ gloating over the current impoverished state of Ukraine/ supporting land grabs and perception that Russia is the victim.

I find it to be a very colonial thought process whether you mean it that way or not. This is made worse considering Russia is not the only country engaging in this currently.

Perhaps. Then again, not nearly as deceived as the ousted, or killed leadership of the Russian military.
I have a suspicion that before the war, you never had any opinion about what the Russian military is like.
I modeled and animated a soyuz rocket taking off in Autodesk Inventor for my highschool engineering class project (PLTW). I included the Korlev cross in the animation and won the competition. Surely that makes me in line for field marshal?

You have a navy that has to be moved away from a country with no navy for fear of losing more ships. Your largest ally sells you golf carts as aid and your men use 1960s vans to move around 3 years into invading a weaker and smaller opponent. Sukhois are shot down by shanty boats mounted with a rocket. You have less naval and aerial hardware than when you started and these numbers increase. Syrian's openly attacked your troops and now they are in power. Your African Wagner expeditions are floundering. Kazahkstan relations are the rockiest they've been since... when exactly? They start the pivot the east asia now. I will admit though, nukes are scary. If you find this presumptuous maybe there are more lessons ahead for Russia. And for what end? Nazis?

Again, this is not aimed at you personally, but you say very similar things to my family members that still think Iraq was justified. It's hard to see the claimed difference between Russia and the US. I dislike it.
