S.T.A.L.K.E.R. patch 1.005

is this an official patch? there's no news on the site and none of the websites featuring the download have any sort of details as to what it does...
 
I checked and you are right. There are no news posting on the patch on their site but it is a official patch. There is some chat on the new official patch and the bugs it brings with it, apparently something like it won't run in multi-player at all if any mods are on the game... check it out for yourself before downloading. (Go to their site and click on Community, then the "General" section there is a thread on the new patch)

I am going to stick with my fan made free-play patch, and all this they really should have had allot longer ago anyways.
 
A guy appears suddenly out of the dark with a cymbal in each hand and clashes them together shouting: "SURPRISEPATCH"

no one did see this coming as they didn't talk to the community anymore

good to see they are still patching
