Hey folks- Heard this on the radio today and thought some of the folks here might be interested. What role do stories play in shaping human evolution? What is the likelihood that changes in technology and bio-engineering might changes our species? Your thoughts? http://www.wbur.org/onpoint/2015/02/09/homo-sapiens-neanderthals-evolution I wonder if what we might see is a world divided- a technology superior species and a secondary species who don't have the same technological access- evolving in two different directions. Your thoughts?
The latter of your post is kinda true nowadays. We have first world countries, or the west. More developed, economically strong countries with better tech. Then we have third world countries. Basically the opposite of the former.
I think that's a good point. The difference does suggest a North vs South, wealthy vs poor divide, with the poor usually getting screwed. The book- https://www.amazon.com/Sapiens-Hist...e=UTF8&qid=1469741583&sr=8-2&keywords=sapiens
