Yeah, I may exaggerate a bit, but I guess you can focus more on making a coherent character if you define some aspects of it.

That said, the Witcher is sexist. Not even subtly sexist, like the article states, but blatantly so. I think that's ok because it's setting-appropriate, but whatevz.
