Ok, I've used passwords to put the forcefields down, I've used the eye on the retinal scanner to go down the lift.

I'm on Level 2, and there is no way I can see to put the forcefields down there. Anyone got any ideas?

To my memory, Sierra Army Depot force fields work the same way as classic forcefields; you can blow up the forcefield by detonating some dynamite near the generator (the thick thingy right next to the forcefield) or use repair on the forcefield.
