Skills !!!

Limbabnees

Still Mildly Glowing
In F2 you get double points wenn a Skill was tagged.
In F3 is it: Effectness, more damage, accuracy?

So wenn pick All weapons: Small,Big,Energy they get a penalty bonus, and the rest of skills not?

Say i have 100 in Small Guns. so what the difference wenn tagged or not?

Im not sure how it works here?

Tags just add 15 points to begin, that's it.

I have absolutely no idea what else you're asking.

In Fallout 2, if my barter was 100%, I would buy something from a merchant for a certain price, and the price is the same whether I tagged it or not. Tagging, in Fallout 2, only means that the skill will grow 2x as fast as untagged skills, but the actual skill, given the same skill %, is the same tagged or not.

In fallout 3, Tagged skills means you get 15 skill points bonus in that skill, and the cap of all skills in F3 is 100. So if you have 100 in Small Guns, it doesnt matter whether it is tagged or not.

The only difference between a tagged 100 small guns and untagged 100 small guns is that you spend 15 less skill points in tagged than untagged, otherwise its absolutely identical.

In a way they did nerf it, but that's more balance issue because the Skill cap is now 100 rather than 200, so having it increase twice as fast as well as skill bonus can be a bit overpowering.

The skill system is fine. Tag simply means you can increase a skill by 15. That is good since your first goal will be to get a skill to 30 then 50 as some required options in the game require things like Repair 30, or Explosive 25.

Cutting the max down to 100 elminates any 'nerfing' that might have been done.

Doesn't really matter what you tag, since skills aren't important at all. You can still use a gun with a very low skill pretty good. Just stick em were you like em, if you misspicked, don't restart the game - ain't worth it.
