Some Holodisk FRMs for Fallout 1

Cerebro

It Wandered In From the Wastes
I'm not much of a modder, but I like fiddle around with minor stuff that annoys me - for example that different inventory items share the exact same picture. So I created some alternatives for the holodisks to give each of them a somewhat personal look. Because I'm no artist either, completely new images are out of the question, but I'm fairly happy with how they turned out and they look nice in the game I think.

(As I'm currently playing Fallout 1, I didn't make any FRMs for the Fallout 2 holodisks, but I'll come to them later.)

Some of them look a bit similar, but that's by design, as I tried to give disks from the same source (i.e. the Brotherhood) the same theme. You can do with the files what you like. The .zip contains all BMPs as well as the corresponding .FRM files.

Check out the existing holodisk graphics already in the game files. They look vastly different. No idea why exactly they were never used, but they exist.

Thanks, I already know them as I sifted to the art/inven folders of the game (and some mods) several times. Its still only 7 alternatives, so not enough to cover them all individually. After a bit back and forth I decided to stick with modified versions the main picture to better group them together - if that makes any sense.

I've added in a few to et tu this morning. Doesn't look so bad, I'd say.
