I've adopted a new dog this week, had to euthanize my previous one after her body just gave up (she caught some shit from ticks and a parasite and together they were too much for her).
According to the guy at the shelter someone threw this one out the window of a speeding car and she hit a trash bin, dislocating both of her left legs. She still has problem walking. Spent 6 months in the shelter.

What am I looking at here exactly? Is this horse walking on its ankles because it’s hooves are broken? How does something like this happen?
I just thought the hooves had overgrown, maybe with the pony being on soft ground. Whatever it is, it looks like total neglect somewhere along the line.
