Dear bro, if you haven't read it yet, go see the faq, (http://modguide.nma-fallout.com/#AreaMap005) there is a post from red and one from corpse that might help you resolve your problem.
Personnaly, i use a little trick that works only if you use the RP or Megamod as basis : I make a copy of one of the last object added by Killap or MIB, and then I change the graphic manually on the mapper. Then I can use the object on the map. The next time you open the mapper, the object will have reinitialize the object to the original image, but at least it will be ok on the map.

C:\Program files\blackisle\Fallout2, I Create the data folder on it, and all the new one, like item , critter, etc.

BBBBUUUUTTTT !!!!

I must create the folder C:\Fallout2\dev\scenery in the root ???
To finish, I 'll have to directory:
C:\program files\blackisle\fallout2\data\proto\scenery with scenery.lst on it
And
C:\program files\blackisle\fallout2\data\art\scenery with the new FRM and the scenr.lst updated on it with the name.

And
C:\Fallout2\dev\proto\scenery created on the root?
Only that?
If it's it, thank you, I haven't understood it when I read the tuto :(
Need to be tonight to test it on my computer.

Yes, that's right - it goes in the root of your C:. It should work for you now. But don't forget that your new protos will sometimes get deleted, esp if you start up the game. Protect your protos! :)

Ok it works fine.
I'm rebuilding a new mountains, more...realistic than the little one we see in FO2.
In start I 've put the complete mountains, 2.5Mo size.
I create my new proto with the mapper, no problemo, but I notice that the picture when I scroll the screen doesn't appaer completly.
there is a kind of refresh to make to see the "missing" part.
My question:
Is there a maximum size in octet for a scenery ?
I've put 1024 in the cache size in mapper.cfg, but it doesn't change anything.

Engine can properly display only FRM that isn't bigger than ~400x300...

Your FRM is probably bigger than that limit, so some fragments are disappearing when you move a cursor over it.

So, you must split the art into the pieces...

Here is some pre-test whith new scenery.
We encounter some trouble with the palette.
Our contener is too much High resolution in render ;)
Have you got some tips to change render in high resolution in render type fallout ?
We use the defaut palette but it seems to have some brightness type or desaturate value?

A try in a map quicly create.
There are some trouble shitter pixel in blue, but we 'll kill them quicly ;)
 
Looks like AA issue...

You must render at same size as it will be in game (no resizing before adding into it) and turn off AA on outer edges. Otherwise you'll always get that ugly, blue-ish aura...
