spam filters and block up stoppers

I've never really gotten a lot of pop ups, so I've never had to deal with the problem...

My solution... find a better porn site.

As far as spam is concerned, a temp ban usually does the work.

Pop up ads stopped being a problem since I started using Mozilla.

Two words: Fire Fox. Haven't had a single pop-up ad since I started using it. As for Spam, Thunderbird works wonders as well. Mozilla's the bomb.

I'm using Norton Internet Security Web assistent. It works.

It screws up my system everytime I install it, though it should work perfectly - it came with the computer.

I use Galeon (which is linked to Mozilla). Pop-ups are very rare.

Google toolbar for pop-ups, since it gives me an easy option to allow popups on any page I need to allow them.

Norton Anti-Spam from Norton System Works pro 2004, connected to Microsoft Outlook Express 6. It really works well, it scans the message for what I consider spam, and adds it to a profile. This way it seperates based on content, and not just the senders address.

Mozilla can disable pop-ups. So can Opera, when it's not busy trying to crash itself. I have AdBlock plug-in on Mozilla as well, for the more sneaky and annoying kind of ads.
Google thingie for IE.

I use a Pentium 90 with windows 95.

also great against "modern" viruses.

However i also use on my other PCs McAfee suite

Firefox. Firefox is easily the best browser around, and it's easily modifiable, plus I love the "flash click and play" ad-on. That takes away all the hectic flash bullshit.

Switch to firefox! ;)

I just use opera... No popus since I started using it like a year ago or so..:D...spam..well... I change email addresses once in a while...and then I won't get spam for a long long time:D...

I use the Google toolbar for pop-ups; my solution to the spam problem is not giving away my email so easy, and if I do decide to give it away I have this "sacrifice" email address that can fill up to the rim with spam as far as I care.
Say, what do you guys use to get those damn tracking cookies off your back? My favorites are ad-aware 6 and ad-watch 3.
