Yea, UK is better at soccer also, even though we have a few cock ups every now and then (World cup...Oh the shame).
But hey...seen as though this is about sport, who do you guy's think will win Euro 2004. I would like to think England, were doing ok up to now!

Heh heh...really? I normally have tickets to atleast some of the games but this time round i havn't got any. Where abouts do you live?
You could proberly make quite a bit of money of selling tickets. I know a freind who made quite a substanciel sum when he sold his tickets for a sold out game. He couldn't go yet he was able to double the price on the tickets and people were willing to pay.

I'd probably put my money on England as well, but it's too early for me to tell, as I never bother to follow football very actively.
As for the World Cup; I was enjoying it immensely, every single football team that we were used to seeing emerge as the victor being run into the ground. I loved it. Damned elitists.
Well, it is rather a little early to think about who is going to wim. England have an awfull history of getting near to the end and then getting nocked out. However they are looking ok this year and maybe....just maybe we can win somthing.
As for the world cup, it would have been amazing to see some small time team like Korea or China actaully win it. All these really top notch teams get beaten and little Korea, wins the world cup. Ha, that would have been a good laugh.
What about France? I Know they looked dismel in the world cup, but they still have a strong side. There's also Spain to watch out for. They were doing really well in the World cup.

How about boxing?
The pros: Eric Lucas just got his belt stolen by Markus Beyer last month. They now say he didn`t lose that bout, but he will get a revenge fight later this year.
The Amateurs: My friend just qualified for the Pan-Am Games yesterday. He had to go to Colombia to learn it.
Me : I just got my nose bruised yestreday by a lefty who weighed about 35 pounds more than me, was 10 years younger and has 3 inches more reach than i do. Even if i have way more experience than the kid, I hate boxing against leftys.

England, they are looking good and if they add a little flare to their game they may be able to win.
Germany, well, there team isn't as good as it used to be, they had a farely easy running in the world cup. To me they just don't look a likly to win.
France, well the blues have one of the strongest teams in the world. On paper, they should be outstanding, its a different matter on pitch though. But, they lost badly in the world cup, they won't wan't to feel that again, determination.... they could win.
Spain, like i said, there team is strong and there better than in previous yaers. They are in for a good shot.
Italy, well, i don't really know much about the Italien team. They are normally good so i imagine that they would be good this year as well.
I think tehre is also Sweeden (sp), i havn't seen them play lately but they have a good side.
However, after saying all of this, these are the teams that seem likly to be in the running, but, in the world cup we saw all of these teams nose dive out of the comp, which just shows that even though they are the all time great teams, they can still be knocked out. So i would'nt put my money on anyone just yet.
Remember, this is just my view, i could be completly wrong and we could see Scotland win thh Cup. Who knows???

Now that'd be cool. I'm waiting for the finals between Louxembourg/Luxemburg (whatever spelling you prefer, damned multi-linguals) and Monaco. The rich vs the even richer.
(and it's Sweden...and Sweden's usually not that great, good, yeah, but not great)

Why? Have Norway learned how to play an entertaining game yet?
As for the world championship, Sweden beat Russia 4-2. A good game after a rather slow start. Looks like the NHL-players are starting to get their steam up, Zetterberg was great and Forsberg and Sundin are getting there.
Still, Slovakia probably have the best team of the tournament...again.
