Gamespot posted another Stalker designer diary, in this one Anton Bolshakov (Project Leader) talks about "how the use of technology kick-starts an approach to gameplay". Here's a small quote:<blockquote>In our kill-or-be-killed deathmatch game, the player has the advantage (or disadvantage) of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. physics system. All the details found in the single-player version are here to be exploited--either by you or your enemy--in order to achieve that one simple goal: kill. We have taken special care in creating specific deathmatch maps that make the most of the high-level environments, and we have also balanced the weapon power so that survival becomes the key aspect.
