I love comedians. The kind that just stand there, on stage, with a microphone and a bottle of water or beer.
I have a number of Dutch stand up comedians that I adore, but lately, with all them stand up shows and YouTube, I've gotten really interested in Anglo-Saxon comedians.
I discovered a couple of them that really rock, like Mitch Hedberg, who is already dead, and the young but very talented Demetri Martin, who also uses short but very witty jokes (and who also has an awesome site. Check out the first of the "episodes", A Rare Condition, 'cause it's really good.)
I was impressed by Louis CK, who reminds me of Hans Teeuwen, and I was amused by some of Jeremy Hotz' stuff, but somehow I think those are only the tip of the iceberg (so to speak).
What Anglo-Saxon comedians are really teh best of teh best? Can someone tell me?
