Starting position in worldmap

    Hi, Is there any way to set the starting position in woldmap ? Even if you set the position of Arroyo in CITY.TXT file, starting position isn't changed... Is it hardcoded ?

    Hmm, I can't remember what happened when I tested all this now, and I can't test it at the minute. I think if you start on a random encounter map, the starting position is over Arroyo, but starting at a city makes the player start there. I might be wrong about this.

    Another problem is the world view port is always (I think) over Arroyo, but you can use FO2LC (downloadable here at NMA) to set the coordinates of that.

    I tried to start game in Broken Hills by saving game in a record mod(Ctrl+R). Then I loaded the game and when I left the map to worldmap, I was at Arroyo position... But maybe it isn't the right way to test this...
