Steam and GameRanger

Okay guys, I have been having trouble playing a game of Fallout Tactics on my Steam version. Coincidentally, I also happen to have a GoG version of Tactics, and it works perfectly fine. Unfortunately, a few of my friends do not have such a luxury, and when they try to play, they encounter the same problem; the problem being the pesky Launcher that pops up when you launch Tactics via Steam. It's infuriating because there is a number of friends I cannot pester into playing a game of Tactics with me because of that launcher. Does anyone out there know a way that I can disable, or bypass the launcher so GameRanger can do what it is designed to do?
 
Hello guys, I have the same problem, what can be done with steam version of fallout tactics, and the use of gameranger in order to play with friends? Sorry, the post is ancient, but it is the same exact problem, so... thank you very much!
 
Steam hates Game Ranger, will block any incoming connection from it, you should run without steam or move game folder outside steam install dir.
