Steampunk

Holy shit! They're awsome.

But $690 for a toy gun is maybe a little too much for me... Well, at least now, when I got 3 euros, a whole lot of bills to pay and I don't have any money to pay next month's rent.

Very stylish indeed. But not really practical or necessary... Still, if I had tons of money to throw away I might buy one of those (or a whole collection)...

Very cool. :)

I think they are more 1930s rather than 1950s though. I bought some of Alex Raymond's 1935 Flash Gordon comic strips, as research for my next game and the weapons have a similar style.

Also the owner of the site admits to being a Flash Gordon admirer on this page.

Still, it generally fits into the Falloutsy atmosphere, hence it was worth posting.

Wait what? Did you look closely on the specs of the Manmelter 3600ZX? It's a sub-atomic disintegrator! Do you even live in the Wasteland, or are you some kind of tourist?!

Featuring many of the latest ameliorations in Raygun Technology, it comes with Phlogiston cannisters, cleaning apparatus and wingdings, so that you may commence atomising Moon Soldiers or neighbourhood dogs at your earliest convenience.

And it's ready out of the box! Gadzooks!

I wasn't saying it wasn't worth posting, I just wanted to mention that Fallout has a strong 1930's influence, which many people don't fully appreciate.

For me a Fallout without the 1930's styles isn't Fallout.

I would say it looks cool, if it wasn't for the big bad gay photoshop filter, twice as gay as a mormon family is inbred.

I've become a big fan of steampunk, especially as a writer.
I can expound on the historical basis of the real, and explore the creativity of the fictional.

For those wonder about steampunk (there might be a few, very few, readers who don't). I found this.

And, then there is this stunning work. The prose is beyond words. It is so vivid, so alive. I long to write that well.
