So, earlier last night I was messing around with the speech recognition features of Vista. Ever since, Stephen Hawking's voice has been stating, quite loudly, "Sorry, I did not understand." This happens whether or not the mic is off, whether or not speech recognition is open, after I've disabled as many speech recognition features as I can, ended any programs which seemed to relate to my problem, deleting my cookies, restarting four+ times, and after running two spyware scans and one virus scan.

It also seems to be affecting my internet browsing (links will frequently be opened which I haven't clicked on), and my instant messenger program's background looks greyed out, for some reason...Why is Stephen Hawking raping my computer? I bought his book already, what more does he want from me?!

He's trying to drive you insane via some form of electronic telepathy!

You need to drive over to this house and stab him through the heart with your motherboard!

It's the only way to purify it!

I *think* the problem was that Opera's voice activation was still active. No Hawking for about an hour.
