Summer reading

Book's.

Can any one recommend a book I get paid in a little bit and I fancy something new to read.

Please tell me why you liked the book, It's ISBN (if you have it), a summary of what it's about and any other info i might need to know.

Thank's - Muff

Here's one.

Just found a book, The Turner Diaries I might not agree with the politics in it but it looks like a interesting reed.

I have just compleated "my war- killing time in iraq" By Colby Buzzel, a good book i thought. Very well written, easy to read and fun. That got me itching to read more books.

So, what are you all reading this summer and any of you got any book recomondations for the summer?

East of Eden.

I like that book, although I generally hate books. The philosophy behind the book is really great. I'd also recommend reading the Vampire Chronicle books (Anne Rice). While the movies are beyond lame, the books are a lot better.

You shut up about Tom Cruise right now!

I'm currently reading Ubik by Mr. PKD.

I have to find me some new summer reading, most vacations I spend reading 'The Prince'. When I'm reading that is...

When I am not deep in my case studies, I am actually reading David Chase's Homicide- the basis of the TV show, by the same guy who created The Wire- best show on TV.

Just finished rereading Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card, Unintended Consequences by John Ross, and 1984 by George Orwell. I'm currently reading The Case for Gold, by Ron Paul and Lewis Lehrman. Next up is We, which I have somehow missed before now. Other things in the pile of stuff to read is the Report from Iron Mountain, which whether a satire or whatever should be interesting, and the New Prohibition and Drug War Addiction by Sherriff Bill Masters.

Currently reading the New Testament from the Bible, Stryer's Biochemistry and Landes' The Wealth and Poverty of Nations.

Although it is winter down under, the ocean is still nice and warm. I was still a little surprised to see most of the regulars at the beach today though.

just finished reading The Road, now moving on to Dogs Of War (by Forsythe)

other books i've got lined up (well, piled up, actually):
"Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep" by P.K. Dick
"The God Delusion" by R. Dawkins
"I am Legend" by R. Matheson (reread)
"Peace & War Omnibus" J. Haldeman (already read the first part being 'The Forever War', but not yet the rest)
"Perdido Street Station" by C. Miéville

Any of the Dragonlance Chronicles. ^_~

Those suck so bad. Talk about derivative marketing ploy for you to buy more D&D. As if you couldn't make up better stories.

I actually just finished reading The Zombie Survival Guide last night, which was really good for a chuckle.
Still trudging through The Dark Tower Series.
