Probably I'll take a vacation downstairs for about half a day, be nice to get away from the computer once in a while.

Thanks for the offer, but it's food 'n shelter included, so I'll probably never have to hit a restaurant (though I might once, but then we'll probably do it as a group, as SCI normally does)

I'm more worried about how to get to the US. Man that costs a lot of dineros. I'd rather slave my way there on a boat then go by plane, but I doubt that's even possible.

Actually, it used to be that you could hire on as a deck hand for the cruise across the ocean. Volkwagen would hire and then let off once they got to the US side. Not sure if they allow it to be so easy since 9-11.

Try sidestep.com for cheap plane tickets. lately its been cheap as hell to fly.

New Orleans is awesome. Hope you get the chance to enjoy it while you are there.

Where in Mass. are you headed?

My folks are in Dorchester, MA, but I usually catch the train down to South Boston and Cambridge. I always gun for the Boarders Down Town.
