I very much enjoyed the first two System Shocks, and going by this gameplay video, I'll probably like this one too. Looks very atmospheric.
I think so. At least I didn't find anything to the contrary, and I'd be very surprised if they didn't release it on PC.Is this for PC too?
It's probably consolized and has a redone control scheme with a gamepad in mind.
At least SS2 was made with the Thief engine and is still quite playable by modern standards. Have you tried playing the original? God, that fucking UI.It's a nice looking game, kind of reminiscent of 2001: A Space Odyssey. It's a shame they're not giving the same treatment to SS2, I guess that'll probably happen soon enough.

I think System Shock 1 is pretty much my limit for how inaccessible/"old" a game has to be for me not to play it. Played System Shock 2 though. The original was excellent too. It's a shame it has such an impenetrable UI, because it was a genre-defining game and more people should play it.
Well it's nice to see they actually have SOMETHING to show for the game with this pre-alpha thing before doing Kickstarter. I hope it is successful. The demo is out now. It's free (I've picked it up on GOG) and so far, it looks promising (there are some issues like hit collision but it is pre-alpha). They've started a Kickstarter too and they enlisted Chris Avellone to work on the game as well.
Never managed to get into System Shock 1 due to how much it has aged. Played System Shock 2 though and loved it. Hopefully, this remaster plays and sells well.
