Could never get SS2 to work in XP, I recall wrestling with it for a few hours then giving up. Seems like it gets alot of praise so I feel like I'm missing out. Oh well.

Thanks I'll reinstall it tomorrow and give their instructions a go.

You'll know where many of "horror" FPSs got their ideas once you play it. Those voice logs in Doom3, phone messages in FEAR, it was such SS2 ripoff only in SS2 I actually cared to listen to them.
