Team Fortress 2 sees daylight?

It looks like Valve has some big things coming later this year. Xbox 360 will be getting Half Life 2, Episode one, Episode Two, Team Fortress 2! AND Portal in one package. It's supposed to be coming out at the same time for the PC.

Team Fortress 2 has a cartoonish art style, and a 60s spy feel while Portal is a new title that tries to use a new gun similar to Prey? that puts portals in the floors and walls allowing bizarre shifts.

What do you guys think? Any fans here? People who still have ANY interest in Team Fortress? Is PC/360 dual release bad news?

TF2? lol, if it's still the original production team, i think the development time rivals Duke Nukem Fornever. everyone thought they canceled it back then.

and yes, dual platform releases are pretty much always bad news due to the lazyness of devs.

Well if that screenie is actually the real macoy I'll go right ahead and get my hopes up. Looks like a screaming pile of fun.

I do hope it maintains the cartoonish feel of the original. I remember that scrapped development in early 2000 that looked all serious.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of TFC, and I like the direction they've taken TF2, hope it plays well too.

Here is a better, downloadable version

Like everyone else, I really like the visual style they have adopted. Hopefully the gameplay is equally good.

There is also a Portal trailer, though I find it less impressive. It seems like vanilla Half-Life 2 with a single new gimmick.

Portal looks extremely cool. I'm pretty excited about the mind-bending puzzles they've got going on.

I was never a big fan of the original TF, but I'll probably try out this version because even though it looks like a direct copy of the original, it should be fun.

I am kind of dissappointed by the Source games basically copying previous versions and repackaging them, but I can't be a curmudgeon 100% of the time.

EDIT: Holy shit the sniper looks fantastic. I'll be playing as either him or the Pyro (largely because of the propane tank).

If you want a taste of what Portal can offer, you might want to try Narbacular Drop, a student made game that uses the same principles (as far as the portals go. Hell, the students that made it are now employed at Valve working on Portal.
You can download the game here.
