I'd love to bag them out for not being able to sing, but I've just been listening to Nile, and I'll be damned if I can understand a word they're saying either. So I guess I'm in glass houses on the vocals.

I can still say the rest of the band sucks though.
 
Those action figures are pretty funny.

They suck as a band, yeah, but they're good dudes and they've paid their dues over the past six or seven years, so I'm glad they're getting some recognition. They've worked hard.

Karl Sanders has one of the most insanely brutal throats in all of death metal. Just because you can't "understand" what he's saying doesn't mean his vocals aren't absolutely amazing.

I'm not suggesting that his vocals aren't awesome. I'm saying that I can't bag a vocalist for being incoherent when I personally can't understand what the vocalists in the bands I'm listening to are saying. Reading my previous post, I can see I was a little loose with my words there, creating some misunderstanding.

I'm fully aware the Nile rocks on several levels. I wouldn't listen to it otherwise.
 
There is a big difference between unintelligible and unintelligible AND terrible. Lots of great singers are hard to understand -Kurt Cobain, that woman who sang for Nightwish, I could name about a zillion others, all of whom have musical tallent. The guy for FOB sings like a goddamn mental defective.
