I have a 1.339 batting average. Suck on it.

So let's see, with those kinds of numbers, you'd either have to have a bat the size of a VW Beetle or as many arms as Vishnu... (even then they'd have to be very, very busy)

Actually, I just hit more often then I get pitched to. That's how badass I am.

Livan Hernandez?
Micah Owings. Hernandez sucks - Owings is the future of D-Backs baseball. Its pretty funny to watch a starting pitcher pinch hit for another starting pitcher.

When Livan Hernandez was on the Giants he had something like 9 consecutive hits (the NL record is 10). Add to that being sat down for 4 games at a time, and he's a pretty good hitter.

BREAKING NEWS...

Baseball GMs vote 25 to 5 (who were the 5?) to recommend instant replay for the MLB.

This is step one, but the first is usually the hardest. Now all we need is players, owners and the umpires (the real hurdle) to agree.

Thats true - too bad he sucks at pitching these days. For my money, nothings better than watching Micah Owings play. He gets it done on both sides of the ball.

This will be good. I mean, the opposers of instant replay have one solid argument - and thats that IR will slow down the game. But when theres a questionable call - we usually have a break in play ANYWAYS because the manager is on the field screaming at the ump.

Yeah, so that's definitely NOT a factor, and besides, an average game is 2hrs 30 mins anyways.
I know. I don't really get what these anti IR people are talking about? I don't see any other argument besides it will cause a break in play.
