Yeah, I'll keep them occupied here, you get out the back way, I'll follow you.
 
Back to the APC

*Smaug sprays the doorway with bullets as Regan makes a dash for the back door. Once Regan is out, Smaug startes walking backwards while firing until he is out of the building*

Smaug- Ok, let's get some more firepower from the APC.

Regan- Quick, we don't have much time...

With that Regan darts off towards the parked APC, the Enclave, still stunned by their initial failures was just preparing for a counter-strike back at the bar. Thus the two made their way safely to the APC. Once there, Regan rumaged about until he found the item he was looking for. A Bozar. Grabbing a few extra clips and some C4 and a grenade or two he made way for Smaug to pick and choose his own.

"Quickly now, we may be able to come upon the enclave from behind as they attack the bar.

OOC: What has become of Greven and Aerakade?

Smaug swiftly sorts through the armoury until he hefts out a Vindicator Minigun. After grabbing some extra ammo and a few grenades, he turns to Regan:

"Let's kick some ass"

The pair of heavily armed angry amushees begin quickly moving back to the bar. They are just in time to see a squad of 5 enclave troops burst into the bar guns a blazing. "Perhaps we should give those guys a bit of a surprise, no?" Regan whispers to Smaug as they walk towards the bar

The pair move around to the front of the bar where they find no more Enclave Troopers waiting outside. "This must be the last of them"
Smaug whispers. The two take their places on either side of the door with their weapons ready.
With a nod from Regan, they simultaniously swing inwards and kick the door open.

"Get down!" Yells Smaug as Jack, Aerakade and the others took cover behind the bar. The Enclave troopers barely had time to turn around before Smaug and Regan opened fire, the barrage of firepower cutting through the Enclave armour.

Wonko looks up at an open window and got an idea. He gets up and jumps out the window. Wonko runs to the APC. He puts on a power fist and takes some grenades. He turns around and starts running back. Wonko sees a small enclave unit sneaking up on his friends in the bar. He takes one of his grenades, pulls the pin, and throws the grenade at the unit.

*When the grenade goes off, it knocks the Enclave unit to the ground and Smaug stumbles forward as a piece of shrapnel clips him in the shoulder.
Once he regains his balance, Smaug turns around and opens fire with his Vindicator, ripping apart the Enclave soldiers*

*Smaug looks out and sees a few more Troopers approaching*

"Jeez! how many more are there??!?"

"A lot if we don't get ourselves out of here." Regan aims through the scope of his Bozar and begins to fire the machinegun mercilessly. When no more Enclave soldiers can be seen, he dashes out the front door. Stopping to make sure Smaug is following, he makes a b-line for the APC.

Just as he reaches its rear door he hears behind him radio chatter a long the lines of "there they are!" "Shit" he exclaims as he spins on his heel bringing the Bozar into a firing position searching for a target.

Smaug rolls out of the way of Regan's line-of-fire and brings his sniper rifle to a firing position.

As an Enclave soldier appears in his crosshair, Smaug fires a single shot. The bullet spiralls from the barrel and strikes the trooper directly in the throat. The soldier falls to the ground, writhing and clutching his throat.

"We need to make a move soon, Regan! We are not going to be able to hold off this many Enclave soldiers for long. And reinforcements are surely en route. We've got to find the others and get out of here!

"You get onto the gun on the APC!" Regan shouts over the sound of gunfire. Regan searches around for some kind of distraction to keep the Enclave off while the team escape. He espies the poorly built roof of the bar, made from wood and thatch. "Get me a flare from the APC too!" With that Regan continues his cover fire waiting for something to happen.

Smaug nods, grabs his sniper rifle and sprints back to the APC. He agily leaps onto the roof and swings into the gunner's seat. Quickly, he reaches down into the armoury and grabs a flare.
"Regan!" he shouts, with that, Smaug pitches the flare high above his head. Regan catches the flare in one hand, and shifts his weight, preparing to hurl the flare onto the roof, allowing the appraoching troops to get closer.

Swinging the roof-mounted 50-caliber machine gun around and aiming it at the soldiers, Smaug opens fire and decimates the front line of the enemy soldiers.

Regan hurls the lit flare through the air landing it squarley on the roof of the bar. As expected the bar is soon ablaze setting the surronding buildings on fire as well. However, the enclave does not seem to be relenting. Regan hurries back to the APC, jumping into the cockpit. He starts the cumbersome vehicle as Smaug continues firing from the roof. A cloud of dust is raised by their quick departue and it, combined with the fire, cause the Enclave some confusion.

"Shit, what do we do about the others?" Regan says as he climbs out of the beaten APC a few miles from town hidden in a ravine.

Smaug looks down from the gunner's seat.
"What else can we do? We've gotta go back for them"
Smaug loads a new belt into the 50 cal. machine gun, holding it with one hand as he readies a grenade with the other hand.
"Hurry, they're probably seriously outnumbered by now".

With a grim face Regan replies: "We can't just go barging back in without some plan... Although that would probably be what they least expect." Cracking a humorless smile, Regan spins the APC about and begins to roar back into town. As the vehicle passes by the outer buildings heading towards the sounds of a firefight Regan glances around looking for something that might help their cause. Unfortunately nothing can be seen, except what appears to be an extremely large water tank. As the large vehicle nears the fading firefight Regan swerves the APC off towards the legs of the tank.

Regan drives the APC directly into the legs of the water tank.
"Shit" Smaug yells as the vehicle smashes through the supports. He ducks down into the gunner's pit as the huge water tank slowly crashes towards the smouldering bar roof.
The water tank hits the bar and completely destroys the front of it, crushing most of the Enclave soldiers, and washing away some more fom the miniature tidal wave that floods from the crashed water tank. Luckily the people inside the bar are not injured, and they quickly recover from the shock of it all to combat the severely weakened remaining enemy personell.

"Alright!" Yells Regan.

Smaug simply laughs and opens fire on the last of the Enclave troops.

In my oppinion this seemed one of the best threads there were! Just the "big battle" kind of ruined it... I mean, maybe if you could stop the fight somehow and get outta there to continue your journey, it could be fun again.
