The Fall extended version gets a thumbs up

From the Fall's newsletter:<blockquote>Europes [sic] biggest gaming magazine PC Games scored 85 % for the Extended Version of The Fall. On top of that The Fall receives the Silver Award for excellent gameplay. Graphics and music + sound got rated with 80 %.

PC Games praised the most important features for Roleplaying Games -Story, Quests, Atmophere and Character Development-:

+ Complex and thrilling quests
+ Sophisticated character development
+ Gripping story with numerous twists
+ Excellent post-apoc atmosphere

meh, one of the ony good things about Europe is they get to beta-test this game for the US.

Well, as far as i've read in the threads about the extended edition on the official german forums, the new version seems quite polished and can be considered "well playable" (not entirely bug-free, but hey...). By the time the US-Version hits the shelves, there probably will be a 1.9 patch out, solving the last few minor problems.
At least the performance seems to be quite decent by now.


(And no, i wasn't paid to say so by any authorities involved).
